Can you use 3rd party controllers with the Nintendo Wii?
So far I have only seen the Nintendo Wii mote along with lots of stuff for them to plug into (swords, guitars etc). I was wondering if a game mfg could release a game that included other remotes. I’m thinking something like a watch that you would wear around each wrist and ankle (so 4 remotes) that the Wii would sense. You could then play things like DDR or fighting games and have the Will pick up movement of your arms and legs. You could make some cool fitness games too.
I dont think it should personally be remotes. But a game that you strap little cords with a ball around your apendages!! Then the sensor bar would pick up where you are. It would be a good idea, and they could be used for other games as well… basketball, VBALL especially.
