Are you suppose to decorate for veterans day?
Is it appropriate to put yellow ribbons in trees and flags in yards? or is that just for memorial day? Anyone doing anything special on Nov 11th?
did you notice yahoo doesnt have veterans day as a holiday yet it has ramadam?
For Veterans’ Day you traditionally display the American flag.
The yellow ribbon thing, from a Tony Orlando song about a guy returning from prison, is nice I guess, but more for the active duty troops who are coming home.
Also, a visit to a veteran’s cemetery is a fine gesture of respect.
Of course, the finest thing you can do is write your US Representative and request more appropriations to care for the veterans who have been injured in the service.
