What do you think of the “Best of Hilary Duff” CD?
“Best Of Hilary Duff” is a compilation album, sort of like a greatest hits.
Apparently she’s releasing it to end her contract with Hollywood Records.
Album Release: Sept. 23, 2008
Some Reasons Why…
1) Hollywood Records sucks at promoting a CD or single outside of Disney Channel.
2) Hilary wants an edgier, more adult sound. Hollywood Records doesn’t.
3) They don’t promote her as well as the Jonas Brothers or Skanky Cyrus.
4)They want an album this year, Hilary wants to take her time and write the songs and produce them as well.
ETC…
Tracklist:
1. “Reach Out”
2. “Holiday”
3. “Stranger”
4. “With Love”
5. “Play with Fire”
6. “Wake Up”
7. “Fly”
8. “Come Clean” (remix)
9. “So Yesterday”
10. “Why Not”
11. “Reach Out” (remix)
12. “Holiday” (remix)

Best Of Hilary Duff
It looks like she was really in a hurry to get this published out. I agree that she isn’t being treated well in Hollywood Records. Hilary is possibly one of the main reasons why Disney is so popular today. Lizzie McGuire was a big money-maker back then and now that she’s not on Disney anymore, they’re pushing her aside. I’m not the biggest Hilary Duff fan, but I wish Hilary the best and hope she finds a better record company than that joke.
