I have a baby book and memories question?
I write down my daughters milestones in a journal but can’t seem to find time to transfer to the baby book. it seems that everytime I touch the baby book I mess something up and I’m a perfectionist. However, sometimes I think, when my daughter looks back at it a long time from now she might think it’s funny plus I want to teach her that not everything has to be perfect. Do you ever find it hard to find time to deal with baby books and putting pictures in frames? It’s been 3 months. Will I eventually get to it in this first year before her 1st birthday. Any tips that make it faster and easier would be appreciated!
I am religious about my children baby books. I never had one nor do I have any pictures of myself before the age of three. My parents just never took the time.
There for I always do my 3 children’s books. It’s much easier to have the book always handy to write stuff in. I am the designated writer because I have better writing than my husband, Not all the books have the pictures and stuff but that is the easy part, it’s really hard to remember those milestones. I even have my daughters first basketball game ticket stub in her book. They may not necessarily care but it shows that you cared enough to do it and it gives them something to compare to their children when they do have them. I would suggest at this point just making sure you write down all of the important thing in the book and worry about pictures later. But those books are very important to your child, maybe not now but sometime in the future they will be.
