Did you have a first birthday party for your child?
I was thinking of booking somewhere to have a birthday party for my daughters first, I wanted something simple, Just a church hall, a few decorations & making my own food. Cant really have it at home as my house is tiny.
Do you think its stupid to throw a 1year old a party? People say its not worth it, she wont understand.
The kid won’t care, but you might.
Apparently I had a first birthday party. My parents invited their closest friends, and I have pictures of me destroying an absolutely gorgeous cake. It’s neat to have the picture, it makes me feel special now, but I’m glad my parents didn’t go to too much trouble to invite everyone they knew.
I guess I would recommend something small at your home, with a friend or two. Nothing too elaborate. But if you enjoy catering, and hosting, go for it at the church!
