Food for a birthday party?
My sisters best friend and i are throwing her a surprise party for her 30th birthday. I really wish i could supply a great dinner for everyone (about 50 people) but unfortunately i can’t afford it.
What are some suggestions for appetizers or finger foods that are pretty cheap and inexpensive? As far as i know there are no food allergies and there will be about 20 children. And it’s an afternoon party, starting at 2 until who knows when. Any suggestions would be a great help! thank you!
I’ve already sent out invitations, so i think maybe a potluck is out. NOT a bad idea though.
Well, I think the easiest thing would be stuff like finger sandwiches – tuna, chicken salad, egg salad…. crackers and cheese… chips and dip… veggie tray… maybe some meatballs…. fruit bowl… and no bday party is complete without m&ms, lol
